B O Prasanna Kumar

Mr. B. O. Prasanna Kumar graduated in Civil Engineering in 1987 from Mysore University and obtained a Master of Engineering in Environmental Engineering in the year 1989.

Over three and a half decades, he has been carrying out design services such as water supply systems, sewerage networks, sewage treatment plants, water treatment plants, solid waste management, storm water management, swimming pools and filtration plants, and industrial piping covering the design of compressed air, vacuum, process cooling systems, fire protection, and life safety systems.

He is a seasoned Consulting Engineer who has designed over a thousand projects, including high-rise buildings, residential projects, IT commercial buildings, data centers, mixed-use townships, hospitals, hospitality projects, malls, multiplexes, retail, and industrial projects. He has won many accolades, the major one being the “Lifetime Achievement Award” in Plumbing, conferred by the Indian Plumbing Association in the year 2023. He has delivered many talks on various topics related to plumbing, sustainability, sanitation, and the environment.
